The International Nurses Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Pushpagiri Hospital, with renowned film director and actor Sri. Johnny Antony inaugurated the event. The celebration was graced by several distinguished guests, including the Vicar General of Thiruvalla, Very Rev. Dr. Isaac Parappallil, and Rev. Dr. Biju Varghese Payyampallil, the Chief Executive Officer of the Pushpagiri Group of Institutions.
Other notable participants included Mrs. Suvarna S. Panikkar, Chief Nursing Officer of Pushpagiri Hospital, Rev. Sr. Jyothi, Vice Principal of Pushpagiri College of Nursing, and Rev. Sr. Princy S. I.C., Deputy Nursing Officer.
Principal of Nursing College, Thiruvalla Medical Mission, Dr. Betsy Peter, was the chief guest.
The event also saw active participation from senior staff nurses, including Mrs. Saramma, Smt. Suni Thomas and other nursing staff members. The event honoured the dedication and service of nurses, highlighting their crucial role in the healthcare system, and featured cultural programs, speeches, and moments of recognition for outstanding service.
