Dr. Jisha S Tharakan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Surgery, having joined in November 2023. She completed her MBBS at Rajarshee Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Government Medical College, Kolhapur, in 2018 and followed with an MS in General Surgery from the Government Medical College, Miraj, in 2022. In February 2025. She received the Fellowship of the International Society of Coloproctology( FISCP) in February 2025.
